Who is it for?

The medication dispenser is suitable for anyone who has a large number or complex combination of tablets to take on a daily basis, especially people who need to take medication within a specific timeframe. It is beneficial to older people or individuals with mental health issues who are often prescribed medication in high volumes.

The basic package includes a PivoTell medication dispenser and tray, which is compatible with Tunstall Lifeline telecare systems. A tipper to help dispense medication and key to lock can be added if required.

How does it work?

Two versions of our medication dispenser are available.

Both portable medication dispensers can be set up with prescribed tablets and the scheduled time for each dose. This allows users to take their medication at the correct time each day, while keeping other pills safe. A flashing light reminds the user if the medication has not been taken within the timeframe and an alert is also raised via a Lifeline home unit or other Tunstall telecare enabled systems to our monitoring centre or carer pager.
